The "stranger" story is beginning to take shape. I absoballylutely hate black and white characters. None of my heros are perfect, none of my villains are without reason. I have had a sorta semi plan for the series since I started working on it, and now the first "Act" has solidified in my head. The first act is all about loyalty. Who do you trust? Do you trust the person who ripped you away from family? Do you trust a member of a race you were at war with for years? Do you trust your second in command, who seems to want for power, not for peace? Do you trust memory over history?
The second part of the story is about reacting to new ideas. Your fears are now wellfounded - do you still trust that person? History and memory don't jibe. Who do you follow? Lie for the public's sanity? Or reveal truth and hope the world doesn't crumble? It's shaping up to be pretty big.
Charactrers are shownig traits that I originally thought would be wrong for them...and running away with it. Who knows when I 'll get this one on paper, but it should be a good read.
Anyone out there want to draw this one from my scripts? I've got my hands full.
The four minutes of Two Towers footage at the end of LOTR is worth the $6.50 it took to get in. :)
