CALLING ALL MUSICIANS!
Jan. 22nd, 2003 06:37 amThe AWFW/CS Discussion Forums are now allowing posting from anyone, not just registered users. For some reason, I had Registered Users Posting Only checked.
In a few weeks we'll have the very first of Carrie's songs in Closetspace. I already have music and lyrics put together, but they're from a pop album made in the late 80s early 90s. I'd love to have someone take these songs, and rearrange them into a "Early Suzanne Vega" and "Late Suzanne Vega" style, for posting up on Closetspace.
I have the artist's permission to rearrange (and relyric) the files, so copyright is of no concern. You'll get a "Music by Rob Thomas and < YOUR NAME HERE >" credit in Closetspace the day the first song goes up. I'm looking to have it on the site in a month maybe a month and a half. MP3 format is nice, but MOD/S3M/IT (or any of those Winamp Playable Modules) is acceptable.
There's no money to be had other than something you can point to and say "I helped do that."
You guys get a head start, I'll be putting this on the Closetspace site on Thursday.
EMail me at jenn@dolari.org for info, and feel free to paste this in communities that might be able to help out.
