The people of Texas have spoken on Prop. 2...which is rather sad. Given the climate in The State of Texas, and the United States, both will soon lose a citizen over this. Thankfully, my love is in Canada where Same Sex Marriage is legal. I'm just very sorry that will make it near impossible to show her the state I love and used to call home.

Sent to:
George W. Bush (President of the US)
Kay Bailey Hutchinson (Texas US Senator)
John Cornyn (Texas US Senator)
Lamar Smith (Texas US Representative)
Rick Perry (Texas State Governor)
Gonzalo Barrientos (Texas State Senator)
Todd Baxter (Texas State Representative)

I used to believe in writing to my elected officials, patting them on the back when they did good, and scolding them when they did bad. But I found myself scolding them more than patting them on the back. And after a while, I began to feel like I was spitting into the wind when it came to Texas Politics. This is the first (and more'n'likely the last) letter I've written to these positions since 1996, when I left for Pennsylvania.

I just finished a $100 comission I took back in September, a 10 panel 11x17 page. Total time to completely pencil and ink the page? A MONTH AND A WEEK.

I think comics are still 28 pages of comics, maybe 22 now. So I could do a complete print issue in about three years.

And you thought my weekly comics were slow.
