I'm poor, begging for money online, selling my posessions for rent and swamped with commissions for groceries.

And I'm artistically fulfilled. :)

THE NARNIA FEAST
ALAMO DRAFTHOUSE LAMAR, DEC 12, 7:00, VILLAGE, DEC 13, 7:00
Andrew Adamson, 2005, 35mm, $50

There’s more to Narnian cuisine than that oh-so-addictive Turkish delight. Executive chefs John Bullington and James Holmes have sampled from the best meals from the Chronicles series to create the ultimate C.S. Lewis inspired feast. For those not up for a four course Narnian culinary exprience with matching wine pairings, we will also have select a la carte options during the regular screenings of Narnia at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema. Also, to enter the theater at South Lamar, you will need to walk through an oversized wardrobe with coats, live pine trees, snow and the iconic Narnia lightpole. To see this movie at another theater would be a serious injustice to yourself. NOTE: NO TALKING ANIMALS WERE HARMED IN THE PREPARATION OF THIS FEAST.

THE MENU:

The following multi-course meal is inspired by the Tumnus Meal, the Beaver's Meal and Aslan's Meal from the Chronicles of Narnia.

Each course will have a matching wine flight.

Earl grey smoked sardines on toast points with four onion jam

potato-devonshire cheddar and bass ale soup

Grilled Venison tenderloin with pomegranate demi glace with a parsnip puree and pepper seared tomatoes

Clemintine Marmalade sticky roll and clover honey ice cream

Turkish Delight and hot tea.

Maybe Canada isn't the oasis we thought it was.

I understand what they're trying to do. But it's still wrong.
