Comics might ba late because were having major power outtages usually with no power times lasting longer than powered ones. I'm sure this is doing all our electronics good. :)

Its amazing. With no power there's nothing. Its so quiet. No humming, no buzzing, no whirring. It relaxing, she said posing this from a cellphone. :)

Lovely thunderstorm, though.

No comics for 6/04. Would you believe a monster storm that blew out my power?

Okay, folks. I promised I’d have some kind of comic up for 6/4, but it seems it’s not my imagination…the Universe itself is out to get me. This time, it sent a massive line of thunderstorms:

The first few AWFW panel had been done Saturday Night, but usually all day Sunday is spent drawing. I managed to get most of the panels done by 9PM, when the power first went out (turns out this was a 70MPH wind gust just north of here). This wasn’t a problem, and in fact, I got them all done (some I’m not happy with, but, come on, I’m drawing by candlelight).

In fact, here’re the pages. You can tell the ones I drew by candlelight because, well, they aren’t very good:

The power came back on about 11:30PM. I started work on the comics at 12:00…when at 12:30 the power went out for good, and didn’t come back in till about 4:30.

Guys…I’m sorry about this. It’s been almost a month without comics, and just everything keeps getting thrown in the way. The good news is that comics EXIST. Barring someone flinging an asteroid to my head (you think I’m joking, but it could happen, I know it could), comics WILL BE DONE. I love y’all, people. I’m just sorry to keep you waiting.
