One terrible night in 1995, at one of the lowest points in my life, I went to a church to pray to a god I'd stopped believing in, giving myself one more chance to try and find something, ANYTHING, to believe in to keep going. The church doors were locked. He didn't want me. The rest of that story is known to a few people, but, in general, was not something that ended with candy and flowers and rainbows.

Over the last few months with the move and the apartment and job searches, for the first time in a long time, if ever, I've felt the Guiding Hand of Providence. I don't know whose hand it was, or what I did to get it's attention this time, or even if it was random chance, but whoever it was has my thanks and gratitude.
