So over the last few weeks, I've been getting a headache. It's nothing big - I get headaches every day, usually waking up with one that goes away in a few minutes. But these have been different. They sit over my left eye, draping back about halfway over my skull.

Usually, they're small things - just a dull ache, or a quick throb or two, then they go away. Over the last few days, though, they've been getting more and more insistent. Saturday night it got annoying. It began throbbing just after work, and wasn't going away. I hate taking pills, so I went to bed and hoped sleep would take care of it.

When I woke up Sunday morning, the headache was still there, although down to a very dull roar. I got a shower, then wnt to work. I took one call, and right in the middle of it someone drove an axe into my head. It was a pain where I actually yelped on the phones.

Over the next few minutes, it got worse and that's when my left eye simply closed. I could open it if I tried, but as soon as I "let go" my eye closed. As soon as the call ended, I walked to my lead and requested the rest of the day off, which they were cool with. That's when things got worrying.

As I was walking out, I began to feel very ill and dizzy. But also, I began feeling "lost." I was walking the cooridors on the way out, but they seemed "wrong." Familiar, but something not-right. I knew I was at work, but work didn't "feel" right. Eventually I got to the pickup in time to vomit in the parking lot.

I felt a little better after that, but the headache then got worse. I headed straight for home as fast as I could, and when I got home, had the same "I know this is my home, but something feels out of place and wrong." Like I recognized it, but everything was two inches to the left or someone had repainted the walls with just a little different color.

I immediately went straight to bed, and the next thing I know, it's eight hours later.

I'm feeling a lot better now...but I woke up with the headache still there. It's been coming and going all night, and right now, is gone thanks to a minor overdose of extra strength Tylenol.

But this was the first time I've ever felt afraid of a headache. I hope it's not anything more serious than a lot of stress in life right now.

Headache is down to a minor annoyance. Really craving an Arch Deluxe for some reason.

I'm loving this phone, but I'm really wishing it'd stop logging me in to Google Talk (yes, autologin is turned off).
