Gender studies 101: I've done several cross country road trips on my own for years now. Now that my parents have accepted me as a woman, they want to come with me. Because "its not safe out there." That's kind of adorable...but really REALLY complicates the road trip since Dad likes planning to the minute, and I absolutely do not.
