Thinking about taking three days off around my birthday and trying hard, very hard, to spend it in Vancouver. I wanted Canada Day, but there's just not enough time to request time off.

I don't think it will happen, even around my birthday...I don't have enough money at the end of the paycheck to really make a dent in savings, but if I can I will.

I have a Father's Day story I'd like to tell, but...(1) I'm not sure the Statute of Limitations has expired and (2) I can't hire Waylon Jennings to narrate it.
