Sep. 8th, 2016 03:35 pmCar is fixed. To his credit, the mechanic charged me only for new calipers, a brake flush and labor for installing it and not for new rotors and brake pads (and labor for that). Now it's a matter of waiting.
He's asked me to keep him updated with the car, to see what happens. He admits this is just a shot in the dark at this point, but as we've replaced downright the whole brake system minus master cylinder....
