How character building in my head works:

I'm watching a scene play through my head as Catherine-Genevieve and Dr. Johnson are walking through the airport after visiting France. Genevieve is walking away from the plane kinda with a purpose, and Dr. Johnson is behind her carrying a whole lotta bags of swag and souveniers.

Jenn: "Stop. Dr. J, why are you carrying all her stuff?"
Johnson: "Hers? This is all MINE. Not every day I get to go to France on the company's dime!"

Doctor Johnson is serious about his work, but has a fun loving attitude to go with it. I love how his character is coming along.

Thinking about another trip to Canada in January now that I have a brand spanking new passport.

Kinda want to make this a "four times a year" thing for sightseeing, groceries and exploring.

So. We're having a windstorm right now. Our four story pine tree is now two stories. The rest is resting on Naomi's shed in the back yard. She's fine - but...HOLY COW.
