I will likely lose my Texan license for this, but I'm not a fan of Whataburger breakfasts....

Day 14/15 addenda....

While poking around the shops in Austin, there were a lot of opportunities to pick up little Texas tchotchkes. I'm not a fan of trinkets, but there were a few I thought about picking up...

...but I couldn't do it. Texas had never been the best run state in the union, but since George W Bush, I've watched the state go from badly run to a moustache-twirling-evil-cackling villain to women, LGBT folks and even secular education.

I'm known at work and among friends for being a very proud Texan. The honest truth is. I haven't been very proud as of late. And home is no longer really home anymore.

I've been running around for almost a week straight.

Taking today off.

Day 18: No pictures or much text for this day, cause I posted them earlier. I left hoping to make Dim Sum at New Fortunes, but traffic along I-35 was so so so bad, that it took two hours to go forty miles, and I ended up missing Dim Sum. That said, I knew I was going to be late, so I pulled over and got lunch.

Instead I went straight to the Classic Game Fest and met Dean there. Sadly, it was a bit of a dissapointment. Lots of vendors. Tons of them in fast. But Pinballz had more games. Sure, these were free play, but I played very few of them. SSF2T (I ruled this machine for a while), MK2 (kinda broken) and Tron (I like it, but I've always sucked at it).

Afterwards, we went to visit Sarah and made our way back to San Antonio while telling the Stephen Universe Story badly.
