30 Questions for Pride Month, Day 3: Was there anything you did as a child to assert your gender?

Honestly, no. This will probably sound wierd, but I didn't have an understanding of what gender was. I knew there were girls, and there were boys, but didn't have an understanding of how that affected me. It wasn't until just before puberty that I suddenly realized that the path my body was on was different of those girls that I began to understand what gender was. And that I was on the very wrong path.

It's funny, now looking back at my childhood. I really didn't have the understanding that gender was a THING. I just figured that one day, I'd be a girl (whatever that meant) like them one day. Somehow.

Hard to think how something so obvious was so oblivious to me for so long.

So that Dunkin cereal? If you like coffee, I'm sure you'll love it. Sadly, I don't like coffee....
