30 Questions For Pride Month, Day 20: Does being trans feel like a singular destination, or a life-long journey?

When I was younger, I had plans and schedules and a timeline. There was an end goal.

But as life got in the way, resources became scarce it began feeling like a life-long journey.

Now with medical issues in the way of completing my transition, I've come to terms with the fact that I'm as far as I'm going to get in my transition. But it sure still feels like being stranded on the side of the road next to a broken car with my thumb out.

Heat is starting to get into the house. Had I not had food already in the fridge and a father's day call to make, I definitely should have gotten out of the house. Maybe tomorrow.
