May. 22nd, 2026 11:23 amI'm watching The Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon (I HAVE TIME FOR TV AGAIN!), and my goodness, this is about the time I got tired of River Song.
I actually liked her at first, and on the rewatch I did a few...years?...ago her first few episodes were really good. But about this time, she's really started to become a two-dimensional cliche of herself.
I thought she was a really neat idea, but they don't really explore too much about her being from the Doctor's future outside of the repeated "Spoilers!" line.
