The largest flash I've had took out a bit of my eyesight. Mostly it's moving bits and bobs,though, always along the edge of the white area here (this is just what the largest flash looked like. Around the area with the divot now seems to be a permanent flickering. Like a swarm of bees, or gnats, always there if there's a light wall or background there.

I'm also seeing these flashes with my eyes closed now - they're not white, though. They're more rainbow-oil-in-a-puddle color.

I'm going to see another ophthalmologist Thursday with these, see if they have any idea. Not looking forward to another evening with my eyes dilated.
