Canada's health care system covers sex change surgery and breast augmentation. Here, I'm fighting to get my diabetes and eye issues covered.

That's not completely true. It depends on the province, and some are more of a fight than others. The entire "Canada has free health care" is a misnomer, since what is covered is defined by the province, it's only funded by the feds.
