Well that was a disaster.

Well...had it been an actual INTERVIEW it would have been a disaster, thankfully it wasn't.

I got an Email the other day, inviting me to take the Computer Nerdz test. I replied that I would be there Friday at 2pm. No problem.

I woke up at 12:45. Not Noon like I had planned. YIKES. I got into the shower and began to shave everything that would be in view. And then...fell asleep in the shower.

I woke up at 1:45, wrote off an Email that said "I'll be coming in at 3PM, sorry." Couldn't find my interview outfit...decided on something more casual and something that HIDES. Poofy blouse, vest, and poofy skirt. Hides everything, looks nice, not professional, but something wearable.

Got there at 3:15. Took the test and aced the Windows portion of it. Didn't do so hot on the Mac portion, but I have enough experience with it that it was only the internal hardware I was unaccustomed to.

However.

While sitting there, I heard someone come in laughing. "Did you see that guy in a skirt? He thinks he's a woman!" followed quickly by a hushed "Dude, quiet! She's right HERE."

Ouch.

I finished up my paperwork, turned it in, and they told me I'd get a call sometime next week if I'm chosen for a job, walked outside, put brake fluid in my clutch and brake reservoirs and went home.

Or at least tried to...no matter where I went to try and get home, I was basically forced to miss turns by drivers who simply HAD to get there (wherever that is) before me. I gave up and just aimed my truck in a general direction for Webberville...and I made it here just in time to see Andy going to dinner with Sean.

I'm taking care of him it seems today and tomorrow.

Ah, well...maybe I'll get in some drawing.
