I'll start: Sylvester McCoy's Curse of Fenric. Not just continuity porn, but very deep and chilling all around, with an amazing WW2 period setting.

Fun cameos, coherent plot, believeable villain & motive, and, of course, the basis for ST:TNG's series finale. A fair trade, IMHO, since Who's "Inferno" (my second choice) ripped off ST:TOS.
