dolariOne thing that went right: I look GREAT today. And have gotten compliments. :)
I saw someone wearing a similar outfit yesterday and thought "I wish I could wear that." Split second later, I though "Why am I saying that? I can!" So I'm wearing it now.
I wonder if that "That is girl's clothes, you can't wear that" kneejerk reaction ever goes away.

Date: 2012-02-09 03:44 am (UTC)I, on the other hand, shouldn't be allowed to dress myself without assistance. I managed to go through an entire day at work before realizing I'd put my pants on BACKWARDS. No pockets + rear button/zipper = April Fools!
A couple of weeks after that, I finally noticed my socks' completely different shades of green. Thankfully, both shades matched my top ... but still.
And my mother wonders why I stick with basic, monochromatic clothing!
