dolariThere's a great episode of the Outer Limits on. It's a bout a woman who has a time machine and goes forward in time to see that humans are all wiped out because the human of the recent future have given up technology. Time travel has always fascinated me, and yet another dream shows up on the Polychronicon in Book 6. In this dream, I somehow traveled back in time with a few of my friends to either the 1960s or 1950s. I got more of an impression of the 50s, myself. While dreaming, I felt something very strange...something I think the eventual inventor of a time machine will feel when he invents time travel:
"My god, it's REALLY 1960. I'm sitting here, in a 1960 burger joint, with 1960s decor and real life 1960s people here. This IS 1960. And when
I look outside, the windows, it's NOT 2001. It's 1960."
I'd like to go to 1960. I think a day trip in 1960 would be a lot of fun.
Today was a very fun day. Saw some very good friends of mine, who are almost like family to me now. We had dinner, they crosstitched a lot. Another played on his computer. Somehow, the subject drifted to B&D. I made a mention that I tried the BDSM scene out, and I really was only into the B in BDSM.Next thing I know, one of the three invites me to what could be considered an "ice cream social" for the leather set.
It's Tuesday. I'm thinking about it.
