I've never been let down by space bats.
Jul. 28th, 2001 11:59 amThe party is winding down.
I really did nothing today. I had planned to go for a ride today, towards Fredericksburg. But I got such a late start, that I shelved those plans. I wouldn't get to Fredericksburg 'til 7PM, and by then twilight would be upon me. So we'll do it some other time.
Instead, I used the money I was gonna use to drive all around Fredericksburg and got me some new Game Boy Games. A lot. :)
I picked up NAmeco Museum (Which has Ms. PacMan, Dig Dug, Galaga, Pole Position and Galaxian), Dragon's Lair, Pac Man Collection (with Pac Man, Pac Attack, Pac Mania, and Pac man Arrangement). Added to my already huge Game Boy Collection of King of Fighters 95, Mortal Kombat, Super Mario Land and Lemmings, I've got quite a library. Lemme tell ya, Dragon's Lair - in a Game Boy cart. It's AWESOME. It actually WORKS, plays and SOUNDS....well, it doesn't sound...like the arcade. All in an 8MB Cart. Kudos to Capcom and Digital Eclipse for squeezing it all in there.
That's the whole day. That and some fried chicken. Oh, and getting to know some friends of mine from a few years ago on IRC.
And now, the real world is beginning to creep into the edge of my vision. ::sigh::
The party's over isn't?
