dolariBy the way, I saw the (whole) Bin Laden tape on C-Span, the only channel I really trust with news these days. News isn't exciting. News doesn't pull at your heart strings. News is an objective reporting of facts, and, sadly, C-Span is the only one who seems to do it...but boy is it boring. :)
Anyways - I'm a little peeved at the translators of the tape. Sure, it's one thing to hear Bin Laden talking about the WTC attacks and all, but there is a whole middle untranslated part that really intrigued me. Basically, you get a travelogue of where that helicopter crashed a few days into the war. Yuo see a lot of pieces here adn there, and there's a definite narration in Afghani...problem is...there's no underlying translation. I really wanted to know what the guy was saying. There's also a creepy part where men and children are singing songs next to the wreckage of the helicopter, including one where ONLY the children were singing. I would really like to know what it was they were singing.
