Yesterday, I had a nice long talk with Eldar. Antoher elf, and a sweet one at that. Real charmer that one is.
Tried some meditation again, too. Practice a little Zen with my breathing.
I have no idea what that last sentence meant, but supposedly that's the spirit of Zen. :) AllI know is if nothing is happening it is. Confused? So am I. But I'm willing to try anyway.
Some days I can't believe the sentences I write anymore. But, you know SOMETHING is working. And if it works, wether I understand it or nor, it's most likely good for me.
Just wait'll I get Erin's books...things'll prolly get mighty strange sounding.
I haven't really mentioned much here, but the last two days have been a real flashback to better times. Everyone remembers SFJenn, right? Crap video game I made in 1994? I promised SFJenn 2 to come out in 1996...never did.
Well.
Someone ELSE took up the mantle. Old time friend Maximoff is workign on SFJenn 2 for me,with a huge cast. Including...heh...a character that NO ONE knows.
Anyone remember Shuriken? By Reggie Byers? One of my first real icons. A VERY strong woman who worked as a bodyguard for an asian mafia group in the US. She was never an assassin, and had decided to quit before she was given an assissination assignment. The main story was about her tryign to leave the organization. Good stuff. Despite the "WE'RE IN 1986!!!!" symbols everywhere (Big hair bows, stirrup pants, Prince posters...shag carpet shirts....)
Well, Kyoko Shidara will be in the lineup for SFJenn 2. Max is hand creating her sprites! Incredible...and after gettin his hands on a few of the books, he's drawing Megumo as well (Shuriken's last enemy in the Victory Comics series). Way cool!
And I'm still writing the endings, so I guess I'll have a hand in a game named after me SOMEWHERE. :)
I went to the store today to get some stuff for mom...I forgot how much I hate crowds...and it's NIGHTMARISH out there. Last year, Deener and I went to a WalMart on XMas ever andI thought THAT was the worst I'd ever seen humanity at. Well, this was pretty close.

Ah, well...I need to start work on the gifties for friends. Time to get to work, girl!
