dolariWell, today I did nothing, but I did it with finesse. For most of the day.
The Uncles who Were to Come Today never came...they're comign tomorrow. Dammit, I put aside TWO GET TOGETHERS for this. I could seen Erin AND/OR Brenda and because of mom's "Perfect Holiday" Clause, I got to sit around and do nothing.
SO most of the day was just sitting here being a vegetable...but you know what. If I'm gonna sit passively doing nothing, Imight as well do SOMETHING. So I played Fatal Fury Special. I haven't done that in a long time, and it's nice to get back to my video gaming roots. I've neglected them for so long.
IT's been kinda hard for me to play video games lately. I get very nostalgic for friends I played alongside whoa ren't here anymore. I miss the joys of going out on a Friday, seeing amovie, playing MK2 with a big group watching. Now it's just me at home.
Later in the evening, two packages came in. Erin's boks came in for me, and I happily got them out of Mom's hands. If she knew I had these books on very unChristian stuff ,they'd find their way into a fireplace migty quick.
They're in a box now, except for one...that one being the one I'm going to start reading tonight.
I finally sat down and started workign on sketches for presents. I did Deener's already and Erin's. Tomorrow I'll work on Marca and Sean. I still ahve no idea what to draw for Andy, but I'd hate to leave him out. Then onto Strangelove, Gina's and Gwen's. While I prolly won't finsh them before XMas, they'll be finished before the end of the year.
I like Deeners. It's cute. ;)
Oh...I'm completely addicted to Iron Chef. It is something I've gone out of my way to avoid all this time...but...I can't help it. Please, STOP IRON CHEF BEFORE I KILL AGAIN.
