dolariThat bomber guy was trying to make a great big smiley face. He may be nuts, that's a might neat idea. Five'll get you Nine he got the idea from Cowboy Bebop #9 - http://www.jazzmess.com/jamming.html - the last shot of the episode is a carved smiley face over South America.
My version of that would be to buy billions of glowsticks, and bury them just under the ground in a smiley shape pattern. Then have small miniature explosives (like firecrackers) break the glowsticks open, so that the smiley face would glow to the heavens above.
I get all the fame and the glory, and no pesky dead people getting in the way! :)
