Wierdness...

I've always wanted to work in Television, as a writer, mostly. Well, today I got a very small (if erroneous) taste of TeeVee life.

Remember that letter I wrote MArathon Animation a while back? Well, today I got a really wierd letter back. In French.

Well, I ran it through Babelfish and the translation was muddied. Plus it couldn't translate "dejà evoyé." The rest of the letter seemed to be a payment to a script editor that had not been made. So I guess I was asked to pay the script editor $3,250. I would - really I would - but I've only got $20 in my bank account.

Thanks to Hunter, he managed to translate it out to "I believe you've already made a request to this guy." Basically, "I thought he was already paid."

There was no one else CCed on the letter, it was sent directly to me. So, knowing how businesses run, I replied ASAP...along with a badly translated French version.
