Ever had one of those days when you look back and
ask yourself "Where did the day go so wrong?" and
your response is "I woke up?"
Today was that day.
The last week has been wonderful. It's good to
sit down and work, and I get a lot of my daily
surfing done quickly, leaving my evenings free.
Normally, I would draw, but I've een busy
rebuilding the new hard drie.
I finished it yesterday and planned to celebrate
with dinner and a movie.
This morning, after leaving for work, I realized
I had left my ATM card at home and had no money.
So much for a nice breakfast. Dean lent me money
for a coke and Zingers. Breakfast of champions.
Then I got the call about the guys making fun of
my voice. That hurt me. Hard. I ad no money
for lunch, and simply read though my lunch hour.
After lunch, I got a 1 1/2 hour call where the
caller kept calling me "Sir" after I had
repeatedly said "That's Ma'am."
By the end of the day, I was close to tears. I
really didn't feel up to dinner and a movie, so
decided to get food and a DVD and stay home.
I bought some Chicken Vindaloo, the 4-disc
Fellowship of the Ring and sat down for dinner
and a movie.
It quickly became dinner on the floor and a Blue
Screen matinee.
The DVD drive has been very wonky with the new
drive. I don't think it's the dive, but I do
believe that I overoaded Windows installing old
programs.
And then to make matters worse, my dinner ended
up on the floor after I accidentally knocked my
plate off the table.
My dinner and a movie has morphed into Format and
internet surfing on a Dreamcast.
I think I will go to bed early. It'll make the
day end quicker. Maybe tomorrow will suck less.
So now, I'm formatting a drive, not watching
ask yourself "Where did the day go so wrong?" and
your response is "I woke up?"
