Today's Freak Reminder:
"Her name's Jennifer. She sounds like a guy. You lived in LA, you understand what I mean."
I really enjoy talking to people in the midwest and in New York. Midwesterners are so polite and lovable. And New Yorkers are so..."Whatevuh." Nothing phases those guys.
I've gotten through the days websites, which is good mainly because now I have the evening to myself. Very good, because I didn't draw a thing yesterday. I ran so late getting next weeks comics done that I just didn't have time. I should be able to draw next week's AWFW and CS before Saturday.
Speaking of AWFW, I lost the story. I got plum lost trying to figure out what to do next with it all...so I actually sat down and scripted the rest of the story out.
It's not gone from "Andrea learns leadership" to "Escape from the Shadow Factory" to "Coming out of your shell." I wasn't happy with how passive Andrea was, and am thinking she's been pretty passive all her life, hiding her Big Secret. And now she comes out full force because her flock is in danger.
15 more episodes, if I planned it right.
They instituted a new policy here at Dell. All dispatches (any parts we send out) need to be approved by a second tier tech. All of them. Everyone is bitching and griping. I don't mind it much myself...takes more responsibility off my back.
Our new schedules are out, and Dell sim-ply refuses to allow Dean and me to carpool. He's not got a 9:30-6:30 schedule while I'm still stuck at 8-5. Hopefully next month I'll get my night shift (I put in for night shift WAAAAAAAAAY the heck in advance.)
I'm also wondering when it would be a good time to schedule an appointment with my Hormone Doctor, and how the hell I coordinate that with being at the bottom of the Day Off food chain.
