SUNDAY
Got up and headed to work...4:30 to 6:00 does not a happy camper make. I did talk with an Adecco rep about my paycheck. I plan to go into the office Wednesday if I don't have a check by then. My argument: If I don't get paid, I can't go to work...and that's not a threat. I have exhausted ALL my cash, and really don't have gas to GET to work. Period. Pay me, or I simply CAN'T go to work. You have till Friday.

So I dropped off stuff at Dean's. Had some dinner, played some games, and moseyed back to Webberville. I packed more stuff into the truck before I finally realized I could get it all in today. Period. The three main VHS boxes would be nightmarish to take all at once, but I could do it. And I did. I packed everything minus a few laundry things that are prolly still stuck at Erin's.

I felt bad leaving there, mainly becaus eI didn't really say goodbye. I didn't decide to do the final load until 1AM, and took off at 2AM. They were all gone to bed.

So, Erin, Marca and Andy: Thanks for letting me stay. It was a wild ride. :)

MONDAY
I went to bed late that evening, about 5:30AM...being only 6 miles from work, I decided I could sleep in. I woke up at 3:15 PM. I had to be at work in a little over an hour. YIPE! Somehow I did it, and even made it on time. I wasn't too worried - I was sure I was going to be turned around and sent home.

Lo and behold, I stayed till 10:45. The last 15 minutes were on my break. I also took a good 25 calls...back to the Friday norm.

The scouring of the callcenter has begun.

I'm noticing more and more that trainers are out in force...the guy who was sitting next to me was...well...none too bright. He'd been working on the Xbox live queue as long as I had, and only today realized that you had to go out and BUY XBox live. The trainer took over the call, and actually sent the guy home.

Soon afterwards, another trainer was stalking the rows, asking everyone thier shift times and phone logins. A few moments later, he came back with a list of specific logins, telling certain people to go home. He walked up to me, asked my login again, looked on his list and said "Nope, you're okay." He sent a few people down the ways home, though. Finally, come 10:30, they simply took volunteers to be flexed. Considering I took 2 calls in the last hour, I volunteered. this paycheck was gonna suck anyways.

Came home, and simply caught up with Dean.

All in all, amore hopeful day. One of my neighbors told me "They're going to hire you, you have a good voice and are smart." I hope someone notices.

"Thank you for calling XBox Customer Care, my name is Jennifer, May I have your name please?" "You don't sound like a Jennifer" "I'm working on it."
Coworker: "What do they think you sound like? A Sally?"
