I just did something for an interview, and I'm worried that it will come back to haunt me.

A couple of months ago, I got a call from Spherion Temps wanting to hire me as a Tech Support rep. The phone interview went well and the woman on the phone asked if I'd worked for Dell before. When I said "Yes, I was laid off," her tone changed and she told me that she'd have to talk to Dell about hiring me. Since I was laid off, only Dell could hire me back - period. No ifs ands or buts. I never heard from her again.

Today I got a call from a different Spherion agent, against wanting to hire me as Tech Support. Again, the phone interview went well, and she said "I notice that you worked for Dell before. Why did you leave?" And I said "Personal Reasons."

I fucking lied RIGHT on the phone.

Thing is, I got an interview. Tomorrow at 2:30PM. And I'm scared shitless. What if they find out? I'm desperate for work, and I'd tell them I was King David incarnate if I could.

Please, please, please....DON'T FIND OUT. I need this job too badly.
