dolariSpring is here. It's all over my truck. My truck, literally, looked green from my window. It's actually blue. There was so much pollen on it from, prolly, three days of non-driving that I gave it a wash. The first pass of the automatic car wash was with a hard blast of water that slammed into the hood...the water turned GREEN. As the washer arm came from the back of the truck to the front, a WAVE of green flooded down my windshield.
The Aragorn look must be in. When I was in school, I was a very...unhygenic...kid. BEing transsexual and living in a body you don't like resulted in me not bothering with it, and I'd often go days without shaving or washing my hair. This, of course, was the biggest turn off to women in the late 80s, early 90s (I graduated before grunge was cool).
Today, I was lazy...I knew all I was going to do was draw, play video games and clean the house, so I didn't shower...didn't shave...nothing. The day went pretty quick...house was clean, comics lettered and new stuff pencilled...so I went for some food...and found NOTHING. I had to get groceries. I didn't want to shower just to go get groceries, so I decided, with beard stubble, I'd go get groceries male, and make people just think I was that nerdy unhygenic kid from the 80s.
I never had so many people ogle me. My cashier was just small talking me to death and looking at my oily hair, several women down the aisle were obviously talking about me, and another woman just gave me this incredible wink.
The hell?!
WHERE WERE THESE PEOPLE IN HIGH SCHOOL!?
And for that matter, damn you Peter Jackson, for not making LOTR in the late 80s!

Never go grocery shopping hungry. I bought groceries, yes, but also ended up buying a $4.99 catfish/fries thing, sushi and a cookie. I haven't even touched the sushi, and the catfish is only half eaten. Cookie was gone before I got home.... :)
