Two hours into my day, and already it's shitty.
I forgot my lunch. I got laughed at by nearly everyone on my way in to work, and then the clinker:
Remember the "Take responsibility" EMails I was getting? That no one could tell me what I did wrong? That everyone said I did right? Well, the customer had been waiting, so I finally took the responsilibty so it could be sent out.
I got an EMail back saying:
My response:
Then on second reading I read:
Someone ELSE "fixed" the original exchange. Marking base SKU is HOW we do exchanges. It marks EVERYTHING that needs exchanging. Someone went in, fiddled with my order, and then I took responsibility for someone elses mistake.
I'm being set up for a fall.
And I'm only 30 minutes into my shift.

We sent you this notification at least 6 times to let you know there was a problem with this order that you needed to correct. ALL system exchanges MUST have an operating system on the order, which was left off when someone else fixed the original ecxhange you created that only had the base sku marked on it. Please do not disregard these notices, when you get one, you need to fix the problem, you will continue to get them until the illegal order is cancelled.
My response:
I actually did get in touch with several mentors who could not tell me what I had done wrong. I emailed several people for clarification and got none. I didn't want to take responsibility for something I had no idea what was wrong. When I kept getting the notices, I finally just replied to them, not knowing what I had done wrong. Thank you for the clarification of the mistake it will be noted in future exchanges.
