I had a dream that somehow, MPs were convinced that I was not only a marine, but was going AWOL and they were hunting me. I can't figure it out, either.
Today, I cleaned house. Yes, I cleaned house. Ihad an itching to do it, because the messiness annoyed me.
Why yes, I did get a hormone shot yesterday, why do you ask?
One of the major things I go through on hormones is "nesting." Seriously. Before I got on homrones, I could give a damn about the filth I was wallowing in. Garbage and trash everywhere, dirty laundry piled up for weeks in piles that prolly had food under it...scraps and things EVERYWHERE.
But after about a year on the hormones, if the place was messy, I started getting antsy and nervous. Place had to be clean. And now, after three months back on the sauce, THIS PLACE NEEDED CLEANSING!
Much to the pleasant surprise of my roommate, the dishes are done, the CDs are put away, laundry is done, and everything. TOO COOL.
I've also crossed the line Language-wise. A co-worker transferred a call to a woman tech and came on REALLY REALLY strong to her. he was a little perplexed asto why she was acting wierd to him. When he asked me what he said, I couldn't tell him. It was just SOMETHING he did to her, that I picked up on, but I couldn't communicate it to him. The words just don't exist in Girl-ese. But he did it, and the tech and myself picked up on it. The closest I could come to was "There's your normal voice, and then there's your Barry White voice, and you crossed WAY into Barry White territory."
He also made me smile the other day. I've always just assumed everyone around me KNEW about me. I make no effort to hide who and what I was born as, I just do my own thing when it comes to being and acting female. I'm not "Stealth" or hiding, or closeted...I just am. But I've always assumed people "just knew." While talking with another co-worker he was telling me about getting into fights in Elementary school. Then he looked at me and said "Well, that's how school is when you're a boy." I don't know if he said that just to be nice, or if he really meant it, but it made ME smile.
Finally, in non-ovary-related news:
I've begun the 2004 webpage redesign. I know I just did the 2003 Marble redesign, but just as I finished, I found out I really like this new design I saw in Final Fantasy the Movie. You can see a mock-up first page at http://www.dolari.org/newhtml/new_page_1.htm and ake sure to rty the mouseovers. If the links don't "Brighten" when you mouse over them, let me know, and also let me know any ideas you have about WHY they're not lighting up. I have to admit, I put in only half a code, then they started to magically work. Eventually all my webpages will have this neon menu look, Gold for AWFW, Purple for CS, Green for Polychronicon and Red for the main page. Blue for another project I'm thinking about:
Anyone out there wanna collaborate on a third comic with me? I'd do it myself, but, damn if I have time for the two comics I'm ALREADY doing!
I will be headed San Antonio way Saturday, and my day is already spoken for: It's Birthday Bash Expofest Extravaganza. Mostly just relaly expensive breakfast/lunch and dinners to make up for scrambling up money for fountain drinks and potato chip meals while the truck was getting fixed.
Alas and alack, there won't be any comics this weekend. I guess you'll have to worry about Carrie and Lise one more week before I get back to it. :D
