Windows 3.11 on a Pentium 4 SCREAMS!
May. 5th, 2003 01:18 pmFRIDAY
Finally, some good sleep. Woke up, put some water into the engine reservoir, a qurat of oil for safety's sake, got some breakfast, filled the tank, and took off to see everyone's favorite Doctor, Dr. Chase.
After fretting about getting there late, and doing 80 in some places...I'm beginning to wonder if the engine is fine or not. It ran like a champ all the way down there (80 Miles). If the engine is fine, the Jenn's Truck Fund will still go to the truck, fixing the brake line, the body work among other things. But it got there with flying colors.
My appointment was at 1PM. I had to pick up my friend Steph from work at 2:30. Come 1:30 I was still sitting in the waiting room...getting kinda antsy. I had to go clear across town to grab her. When I was finally put into the waiting room at 1:45 was getting REALLY worried. But I was seen almost immediately and the session lasted all of five minutes.
I got something, but not hormones...
I have another appointment on the 23rd, hopefully for my first shot (or prescription) for hormones. AND it's already paid for. I ended up paying for an initial visit because of how long I hadn't seen him (2 years). So I paid $175. However, he decided that I would be considered a returning patient, and now I have $100 on account. WOO HOO!
I did manage to get across town before 2:30 and see Steph for a time. I got back my Transformers the Movie DVD and we promised to see each other again on the 23rd.
Barnacle Bill needs to open an Austin location ASAP.
On the trip home, I pulled over at a rest area to throw away some trash...I opened the hood and clouds of smoke came out. I thought the worst, but once the smoke cleared I noticed that an air hose was melting against the engine...this is not good. Thankfully that was the ONLY thing giving me hell. I made it home and fell asleep.
Busy day....
SATURDAY
I finished up Closetspace, mostly...there's really not much I did that way...inked up the comics I hadn't inked and colored them all and assembled.
SUNDAY
I literally spent the ENTIRE day drawing Not only the AWFW and CS for th 18th, but for the AWFW for the 11th as well. Thankfully it's all done now and the world is a better place...until it's time to post up the comics for the 18th.

With your high blood pressure, it would be irresponsible for me to let you out of my office without a prescription for Toprol. And it would be even more irresponsible for me to let you out of this waiting room without seeing you take the first one.
