dolariA Constitutional Amendment banning gay marriage is like a Constitutional Amendment banning blacks from the front of the bus.
Instead of constitutional amendments, or allowing gay marriages, why not do the best of both worlds:
Change ALL official government approved marriage licenses into civil unions. Make marriage a non-governmental "label" applied by priests, ministers, religions (any of them). Athiests can label themselves. :)
