dolariJob #3 is a wash. This has put me in a bad mood, and I've growled at Dean. Shouldna done that....
That leaves only Job #2, who hasn't contacted me in a while. Somehow, I think they may have gotten a hold of me via EMail, and my draconian spam busting filters wiped it out. :P I know it did that with at least one other mail. I've fixed that, I think.
Job #1 was actually warming to me. I made a slight comment about how I worked nights and 10 hour days at Dell. Next thing I know, I now have overnight hours and 10 hour days. Not to mention the managers and trainers have been personable, nice, and very compromising.
I even considered staying with this job past the six weeks if they offered it to me.
That's not gonna happen.
Why?
We're ALL temps. All of us. The lowest of the techs to the hihest of supervisors. If you're not an executive, you're a temp. And THAT'S why I'm getting $14.50 an hour...because we're ALL getting that.
Not to mention, because we're temps, they're putting our nose to the grind stone: We all now have 6 hours of mandatory overtime a week. That will soon be mandatory 6 day work weeks. And while the paycheck will look nice, I won't have time for comics at this rate. And I don't want to get into the Kinko's "Run away from work as fast as you can" thing that nearly turned me into a smear on the side of a highway.
The only good thing about Job #1 is that if I save correctly - I'll have cash for the con.
Job #2: PLEASE DELIVER.

In better news - I've been given the Keenspace Spotlight (http://keenlight.keenspace.com). I've already redesigned the site, should finish it up tomorrow, and have new submissions posted Monday.
I'm seriously considering putting this stuff on my resume. I put enough effort into my comics to make it worth while, and considering how far back my printing skills are on my resume, I think that may be making people run away from me.
