I was asked to come into work at least a half-day if possible. After a six day work week, a flat tire with no spare, and a roomie to get to work, I didn't think it would happen. It didn't.
I did manage to replace the tire for just $75. Had some Indian food, too. I vegged out for the rest of the day.
Tuesday
I had meant to sit down and get to work on the comics, but about 9AM, I got a call from Job #4 for an interview that evening. I couldn't pass it up, so I took it. Spent most of the day trying to create some portfolio mockups, since I really don't have much of a portfolio. I ended up taking some of the olderstuff from 2000 as samples (more on that after I get.don't get the job). I did manage to finish inking CS.
Wednesday
Today I got Closetspace done. AWFW panel 1 is inked, but...I'm 45 minutes away from bed (dammit) and I have to give up for today.
These new hours are going to be hell, but they DO have an upside: 7AM-4PM means that I'm off from 4PM-5PM. Business hours. I can still go to interviews.
I put in a resume for another job, let's hope I get an interview there. I NEED to get out of this job, and I have two weeks till I get on my new schedule. The week after that may be my last wether I get the job or not. The "assignment" "ends" then, but I get the feeling they keep us around. However, late March, they're expecting the Big Call Generator to end.

9PM Bedtime. This fucking sucks. Hopefully thee hours will pay off in another job.
I get paid Friday. I MAY buy a laptop with the cash. Maybe. I have an in with a reputable laptop reseller, maybe I can get a cheap laptop.
BTW, anyone see "Game OVer?" It was actually kinda cute. :)
