STORMS LAST NIGHT! STORMS STORMS STORMS! It was a quick one, but a nice loud one.
I didn't sleep today... I had..."THE BLINK." Ever had this kind of sleep, wher eyou lie your head down, and then you seem to blink, and suddenly it's not only 8 hours later, but you feel like you haven't slept at all? That's today. And it SUCKS. Cause I've already gotta stay late for work training, and I feel like I'm running on 48 hours. :P
However, when I woke up and got ready for work, I was greeted with "The Blast." One of my most cherished memories is my first day in Pennsylvania. Looking out the window on a November Morning, and feeling that "crisp" cool fall air. It wasn't cold yet, but it was "crisp." There's a certain smell to it that just throws me back to that day. And while it was only in the 60s today when I went out, that crisp and smell was there, and suddenly I was in PA again, just for a second or two. I miss Fall. Texas doesn't have it, or has it for a day or two.
Mood was fouled quickly by work, though. Theyu're giving us more and more to do on the overnights, and my one 2 hour regiment of intesinve work has ballooned to a 5 hour regiment, with more on the way. While most of our work is fairly easy, it's very intensive (such as running 500+ fed ex packages through a tracker to make sure everything is delivered...25 at a time) and takes FOREVER thanks to the fact that half our tools are broken. Add to that MORE responsibilities that involve MORE broken applications, and you get a very frustrated Jenn.
Speaking of frustration, the hormones have really kicked into overtime. Now instead of being angry about work all the time, I'm depressed. Now instead of cursing at crashing programs and wanting to hit managers that allow things to break. I get a lump in my throat about it. Not exactly a NICE change, but a "nicer" change.
The cash situation took a heavy hit today as one of the economic "timebombs" exploded. Some games I preordered WAY back in July have finally been delivered at the exact time I bought an electric screwdriver and started a second set of pills (Yay for Lipitor). Frankly, I'm amazed I have any money left a tall. But as long as there's movement UP instead of down, I'm happy.
AWFW is totally pencilled. Now onto CS.
UPDATE:
Cooch Cash - Week 3: $518.00, -$20.75, Avg $83.81, TTT 102 Weeks
Okay, loss of 20 isn't bad. It was kind of expected. not-a-crisis-not-a-crisis-not-a-crisis-not-a-crisis-not-a-crisis-not-a-crisis-not-a-crisis-not-a-crisis.
