It's funny how many people react to this site. I think the pics are very cute and the costumes are wonderful...but people get freaked out by it.
To be honest, I was freaked to when I first saw it...but once I kept looking, the cuteness of it all hit me. :) There is some risque stuff there, but, hey, it's Japan....
