The Power of Suggestion
Aug. 9th, 2003 05:38 amThe last few days at work have been mighty boring. between 10PM and 12 AM, we get almost no calls. So I brought in my tarot card set.
I wanted to just do a reading or two about work, and what better place to tap into work energies than...work? Unfortunately, it was not to be. One of my coworkers saw the card deck, and two hours later, I did four readings.
Doing these at work, I tapped into SOMETHING. In all four cases the 10 of Pentacles Reversed popped up, in the same position (#9). Interpreting it into the rest of the readings, it mostly always meant they feared losing their jobs here.
One reading got too close to comfort for a coworker who asked me to stop halfway through, because I was getting WAY too close to home. Another was a reading with interpretation without knowing the question asked.
Before I left for the vening, I did do a onecard reading. All I asked was "Dell." the card that popped up? The Tower.

I loved it so much, it's now my wallpaper. :)
Funny how the mirror images and color changes can make you see different things. Hanna (on the left) looks surprised and Abaddon (on the right) looks amused or non-plussed. And yet they're the exact same image with just the white/black glow added.
