I only got seven hours of sleep. However, my body got fooled...I went to bed at 7AM...and woke up at 7:45, thinking I slept 12 hours! My brain, in it's muddled state, then said "Go back to sleep, you've already missed work." I woke up at what I thought was 2PM, Friday afternoon. And for a few seconds, I honestly believe I slept 23 hours. In which case, my body felt like it got a lot of sleep.

I need to remember to do that more often.

Anyways, I was up late, because I was doing something I hardly ever do, but I find one of the most enjoyable experiences in the world: Letting my characters talk to someone. In this case, 17 Year old Andrea from AWFW and Zand from Polychronicon had a very long conversation with someone over digitally "translating" their minds to a computer simulation. Andrea wasn't very cool on the thought, while Zand was all for it. Both however, mentioned that it would be hard for them to adapt, simply because being digitally transferred to the "Real World" was not something they were built for.

I hardly ever get to converse as a character, but I find it fascinating, and sometimes the responses I get are kinda scary. :) Zand for one has BEEN digitally copied, several times over, in his story. But hearing him talk about how "I have a purpose in life, to tell my story...I dont' know how well I would work in your world, where you ahve no purpose" was kinda creepy.

I scared employees today. After 7PM you can only enter the building in our main entrance. I walked downstairs and saw a whole bunch of people smoke, who had propped the door open with a "wet floor" sign. They looked at me, and my clothing (I always dress nice for work) and then apologized for breaking the rule.

I love being mistaken for a manager....
