Last year, Erin Lindsey (of Venus Envy) and I with the blessing of Gwen Smith who runs the Day of Remembrance website (at http://www.rememberingourdead.org/day/ ) started working with a few other artists to put together a one day "network" of comics each showing a strip dedicated to the DOR. Last year's comics were extremely well recieved, helping raise awareness of the deaths of transgendered folk all across the globe. You can view my entry from last year here: http://www.dolari.org/cs/2004dayofremembrance.htm
If you're a webcomic artist and have TG, TS or even Bodyswap themes in your comic, I'd like to ask if we could use one day of your comics to be a part of the 2005 Transgender Day of Rememberance. The more comics we can get networked, the more people will see each other's DOR strips. If you'd like to be a part of it this year, please let me know. I'll send you the recommended theme we'll have for this year (not a requirement, but would help maintain some consistency through all the comics).
The 2005 Day of Rememberance is on November 20th. The sooner you can let us know, the sooner we can begin work.
Thanks a million for your consideration, and look forward to hearing from y'all soon.
