Go through the interview. Take the job if they offer it.

AND KEEP JOB-HUNTING!!!

You KNOW they will pull this crap again. You know better than anyone what they do. USE Dell until you get something better, than run away, laughing as you go!

I plan to pull a Leeza on this one. For about a year she managed to get several new jobs, sticking around for training, then quitting as soon as she found something else.

I plan to do the same. I've had my fill of Dell.

*grumble*

This is the second windows video file I haven't been able to see. :-(

I try to play it, the program goes looking for a codec and downloads it, then I get a message that the codec is improperly signed and won't be installed.

I was getting problems with that too. Do you just have the DIVX codec installed, or do you have the XViD one too? Turned out I needed the XViD. You can nab the latest DIVX at www.divx.com, but for the xvid you should probably do a search for "precomplied xvid codec" UNless you know how to compile things yourself. If that doesn't fix it, I don't know what will.

Wierdness! It's a Windows Media codec, they should be giving that away like they give away everything else.

If you're using XP it should be working RIGHT then. If you're using 98 Media Player should download and run it.

Wierdness.

If you go to http://www.3ivx.com/ and download their codec you'll probably never have to install any other codecs again. It covers DivX, XviD and a bunch of others all in one...

I actually encoded it in Divx and several different codec (I love Mpeg, and use ti for everything). But no matter what settings I used, all I could get was 16 MB file, and I wanted somethine 2MB or less.

huh?

I tried opening it, whatever it is, and RealPlayer opened and music played, but there was no picture. Is it because I have a Mac?

Yeah, prolly so. :( Sorry.

Basically it was three people fighting their dopplegangers in a cheesy 1992 Agent Smith style fight. :)
