I forgot to mention, I picked up one of the "new" Legend of Zelda VHS tapes, knowing full well they weren't new at all. They're episodes of the LEgend of Zelda cartoon that were sandwhiched in between pretty silly live-action bumpers of Mario and Luigi.

Nice thing is to finally see them in broadcast quality. The versions I got from spirityouko years ago were nth generation copies. However, the new tape was missing the live action bumpers...which I have archived for all eternity.

You should get these videos, too. Not because the cartoons are good...but because they used the Super Mario Bothers closing credits...in which a very well paid Captain Lou Albano dances around in a Super Mario costume:

"Sterling Entertainment Group"

www.uavco.com & www.entermagic.com

They're not the best quality (they're very fuzzy) but considering no one has prolly taken much care of the originals it ain't half bad.

XD! Yay! Thank you!

The quality won't bother me much =) I mostly want them for the nostalgia.

One of my friends recorded the whole series. BAck in the 80s, there was a HUGE HUGE bootleg network, sending anime and cult TV around the country. I still have 300+ video tapes of Funness

She's one of the few bootleggers I've kept in touch with.

VCD, it's a video format on Compact Disc. A lot of DVD players can play them. I can also make DivX AVI files out of them, too. Can't play those on anything but your computer.

You want VCD or DivX? VCD you might be able to play on DVD machines, DivX you can only play on your computer.

I don't charge for tapes...I got 'em for free, I give 'em waway from free. I'm just a massive procrastinator. :)
