I am just so down today. I've had six panels of AWFW pencilled since Sunday. I inked three the day before yesterday. Two yesterday. And barely one today.

I'm not in the mood to draw at all right now. For the first time in a while I just don't want to draw. I don't want to play video games, I just don't want to do anything. My muscels even feel sore for just moving around. Like everything is taking an effort.

I haven't even pencilled CS yet. I don't want to wait another week, but the one-two punch of TxDOT and Unemployment just has me...down.

This is going to be a bad November. I can feel it. I just know it.

I'll try to get everything done tomorrow. AWFW, CS anything else. But I have a feeling we'll be waiting a week.

Oof...I gotta call my doctor and canel my appointment for hormones too. Shit this is going to be a bad November.

Its half over

November is half over. That's half-good news :) The economy is on its way back up, so hopefully opportunities will start presenting themselves. Its always hard to job search during the Holidays because companies don't want to add expenditures for the end of the year. Two years ago last week, I got laid off and couldn't find a job until February, and then only on contract, although I did get hired permanently after my contract was up. I know you have been looking at Temp agencies, but have you tried contracting companies like ProStaff, CommSys or Tech Systems? I worked for ProStaff (Advecta, actually, is their technical branch) and CommSys. CommSys was great because they have contract-to-perm and they also have medical benefits. You may even be able to try E-Loyalty but I don't know if they're hiring at all.

I'm pretty much hired everywhere. I got laid off from Dell back in June of 2001, didn't find anywork until November of 2002. That lasted all of a month before I was fired for using the ladies room. I got back with Dell in March, but we KNEW it wasn't forever. I was still looking when we got the boot in September.

I refuse to believe the economy is getting better, and I know now that any job I find will just be a stopgap until I can find another job.

Sometimes we have to give ourselves permission to just feel like shit.

Sorry about the hormones. I'm praying for you.
