When I channel a character, I end up getting headaches. The limits tend to be about an hour to two hours when IMming someone, but that goes WAY WAY WAY WAY down if I do more than two characters. I did an IM between three people channeling Carrie, Andrea and Allison for about thirty minutes before I gave myself a doozy of a headache.
Last night, I spent most of the evening in and around the Second Life areas channel Carrie. Saw some cool stuff, met some great people, got some free clothes. I didn't get a headache channeling her though till near the very end of the night. So I took some Tylenol and went to bed.
...and woke up with the just the worst possible headache I could possibly have. If I hadn't called in on Wednesday, I would have done it today. I've been popping Tylenols most of the day (Yes, I'm still in the safe limit), and it's finally gone away just about an hour ago.
Well, I think I have my limit staring at me right there, and a good timer for "when it's time to leave."
I used to be afraid of the shher complexity and power of the characters in my head. And as soon as I get over that fear...then I start fearing the physical ramifications of what they do. :)
