You know, I realize that even at my best, I make (as was overheard many years ago) an "unfortunate looking woman." But that is no excuse for making me the evening's entertainment. It's people like you who make going out the door a real struggle.

I'll just watch some DVDs instead of ROTK...I suddenly don't want to deal with humans today.

Jerks like that aren't human. Neither are the others of the same stripe that have driven by me and made loud comments about my weight.

Human beings have empathy and compassion.

I actually use Human as an insult. Humans are selfish base creatures with no cares except their own. Humans are cruel and hateful creatures.

Ah. To paraphrase something from one of Spider Robinson's "Lady Sally" stories: "Anything that says 'excuse me' is people". :-)
