I give up.

After many days of trying to go see Return of the King, and many days of finding sold out at EVERY THEATER I CAN THINK OF (and I can think of a lot), I've put the movie on the backburner.

This means it's no longer a priority. I will see it when I remember about it in a few months, or catch it on DVD next year.

Am I giving up too early? You bet. I'm just tired of waking up early and waiting in lines only to have it sell out a few people ahead. Officially on the backburner.

Even my Amazon.com wishlists are just really "Reminders" of what I want. I buy them in retail stores then delete them.

My Paypal account is the only thing with my CC number, and even then, I was really really desperate before I set that up.

I saw it in the neglected former UA cinema in Denton that recently changed hands and isn't listed with anything online that i was able to find -- I almost concluded that the place no longer existed. Despite being the only theater in Denton with a population of over 90,000, the place was practically deserted...
