Did some serious LJ Friends-list housecleaning. I've mentioned before that if you friended me, I'd always friend you back. Well...it got pretty clouded, and today I decided it was too much when I skipped over an entire page of memes and the like.

So, if I removed you, remember - Friends lists are not a list of friends you really have, but a listing of journals and writings from your friends. If I delisted you, it's simply because a lot of you post memes, or quizzes and the like. Others post the same thing over and over again. Some posters I just don't agree with. Others were added only because they added me.

I am obviously off kilter this week. I seriously got mad at someone who every right to bitch about his life. I was too busy kvetching about my own and I think I went off on him a little. Phil, if you're reading this, I'm sorry. My humours are all unbalanced this month.

I think it has to do with my lack of estrogen. I found myself craving chocolate ice cream, which is something my taste buds consider a Blight upon Humanity when I'm on estrogen. Dammit, I need a shot.

Well, with news that Spirit has stopped transmitting anything but Bleeps, I checked out some of te news services to find out more. Which I didn't. Darn it. So I hit one of my favorite Mars Conspiracy sites, because despite the complete and total disregard for the "normal" sometimes they have real info no one else has reported. I haven't been to this site in years, but appearantly, they're having a field day with this. http://www.enterprisemission.com - Didn't find any new (well, new and CREDIBLE) info there, either.

Have a good one, Alison!

the peeps on my friends list are only my friends. That's how I work mine, but I just started using LJ so I don't know. Sugoi that I ran into someone that likes anime. Let's chill sometime.

Sorry if my politics (as I suspect) alienated you. This isn't some juvenile "put me back" whiny thing. Just wanted to let you know I would still be reading you and I didn't want you to think I was some weirdo freak for leaving you on my list (I'm still kinda new to LJ and don't quite know the expected courtesies of friends listing). Sorry if this comment, too, is out of line. At any rate, I hope you don't mind if I do comment from time to time too...

Der! I meant to also offer my best wishes to you and Phil for a speedy make-up and I hope the hormone situation rights itself for you soon.

::laugh::

I like anime like Humans like Air. :) I've been watching anime since the 1980s, when we had to walk backwards through the snow for 14 miles barefoot to watch fuzzy 10th generations off-the-air episodes of anime. :)

Nah, feel free to comment, and I will be reading everyone's journal, just not daily anymore. :)

Comment isn't out of line, btw. I think I gave people a bad impression with my little tantrum. There's a few "no-talk" issues I have, but only a very very few. Two that I know of. :)

Good news!

NASA isolated the problem on Spirit to either the Flash RAM or the software that controls it. They seem to have it speaking normally again! W00t!

And Opportunity is doing quite well already!

That's great - I'm hopeful the last pic won't be just the base station. Kinda like a tragic last-postcard. :)

Came across your interesting journal while randomly searching Austin area folks. I've added you, hope you don't mind.
